The opening lines in Hakka, "Passing Taiwan from Tangshan," further evoke the picturesque landscapes.
Following this, three indigenous songs, "Joyful Song," "Hunting Song," and "Song of Nanwang," are presented. These songs depict the optimistic and lively nature of indigenous culture, particularly in their hunting songs and dances, adding diversity to the overall composition.
Transitioning into the Hakka song "Tea Picking Song," the composer employs a gentle and slow tempo to portray the morning scene of tea plantations on hills and the meticulous care given to the tea leaves. This segment beautifully conveys the tranquility of mountainous regions and the beauty of agricultural labor.
Moving to the plains, the section symbolized by the railroad in "Diu Diu Tong Tsai" portrays the early days of steam trains racing across the wilderness.
